End of Ski Season
Week 1 of the Holidays
Our first days were being very lazy and unfortunately being ill. On recovery we sneaked in a beautiful day on the mountain, as long as you stayed on the main runs its was great! I had a course in Cromwell for 3 days to learn how to be an authentic leader, apparently my strengths is being tough, justice and fairness! Watch out! ;) Oli had snowboard camp for a week on Cardrona and could do the half-pipe in two days! A natural apparently, will he ski or snowboard next year?

Renting and Building in Shotover Country
We were extremely fortunate in finding a cheapish rental to live in whilst they built a current home. We were apprehensive about living in Sunshine Bay, but we absolutely loved it. It may have something to do with another wonderful family, The Crichtons. It was a lovely spot too, right in the bush and you honesty could not hear cars, only birds. Pixel particularly liked the rather large back garden called the bush! A great track nearby to run too, perfect. If the opportunity came up, we would seriously consider living there. :)
Lake Hayes Utd, Pixel and the Ingrams!
We met an awesome family called the 'Ingrams' and we have done loads together including climbing to the tops of mountains and we ran a footy team for a couple of years called Lake Hayes Utd. The team were sponsored by Searle Lane and the culture of the team was awesome, lots of fun and we should have won the league! Fran decided we needed a cat, so we called the beast - Pixel.
Queenstown Has Been Fun!
When we first moved to Queenstown and lived inbetween Frankton and QT, and eventually bought in Arthurs Point. The top photo was our very first snow day which was extremely memorable and very beautiful, the boys did not appreciate the walk we made them do to QT. :) Our house was very close to Shotover Jet, we never got bored of visiting.
