Alex's Camp in Dunedin

Fran went as a parent and teacher so she was away for entire week.  The boys were great while she was away and Alex loved sleeping in the museum and particularly dissecting a shark!

Busking and a night to ourselves!

Remarkables Primary School has a busking festival coming up and Oli is taking it very seriously.  He has harassed Fran into making three sock puppets for his performance! Looking forward to throwing some 'funny money' into his bucket on Friday! Alex is doing a monologue based on Gullivers Travels.

We recently won some vouchers including a free night in a hotel.  Alex actually won it and traded 5 kindle books for it, not a bad deal.  The hotel was in Fernhill which felt new as we haven't been there yet.  It had some fantastic views but a dodgy breakfast!

Fran was away for a week on a 5/6 year camp so I organised the hotel and a meal at The Bunker which was amazing... and expensive! The food was incredible particularly the quail, pork and honeycomb/carrot cake.

As well as sock puppets the boys are into making movies with iMovie. They have angry birds hats as faces for the monsters in The Cave 2 with not one but two monsters!

Early morning leaving home, it was a stunning view - photo doesn't do it justice.
